Recently I was featured on a webinar with the African American Chamber of Commerce of Central Florida where I presented on How To Keep Your Business Relevant During Covid-19. We’ve been telling our clients during strategy consultations what they’ll need to be doing to keep their brand recognition alive during this time of quarantining and social distancing. Not all businesses are open, and some are but operating with limited products and services. Meanwhile others are taking steps to keep their marketing efforts in tact to be ready for when the marketplaces open back up.
In this webinar I give a bunch of tips, strategy, and resources that you can use right now to create engaging content for your audience and keep relevant during this time.
Special thank you to the AACCCFL for having me as a guest presenter. They’re really doing a great job with featuring various local business professionals as well as elected officials each week answering questions and providing resources for the community here in Orlando and beyond. Be sure to visit their website to see upcoming webinars and resources.
This week we have a fun replay for you. Have you ever thought about completely opting out of using emails? Before you go wondering, imagine how much you use one or two social networks. And if you could move your clients and contacts to one of those networks that they already enjoy using or at least use rather frequently throughout the day, how nice would it be to switch your point of contacts to that network?
Well, that’s what Bess is trying out. We talk about that, changes to Facebook that include direct messages from Fan/Business pages to followers, the updated Like button responses and more.
Last week I was asked to get on to a talk about goals. The host of the show was Abdul, and he came up with the idea and talking points to go over. It’s a good honest talk and we all talk about some good ways to make and keep goals as well as making yourself accountable to those goals.
This week’s Blab was a rapid fire one! We dished out a bunch of apps, websites, tips, and tools for social media, engagement, websites and more. When I think back at it, it really was a LOT!
The objective at the beginning of any year is to do more and do better. With that be sure to try out some of the tools and tips mentioned in this replay. And if you do try some of these out be sure to let me know in the comments below.
Lastly be sure to scroll past the video to see the show notes!

A few weeks ago before Thanksgiving, Bess Auer and I hosted another Blab with a special guest: Taylor McCaslin. He recently did a presentation at WordCamp Orlando about WordPress Multisites and it was fantastic.
In this video, Taylor gives you some of the basics on Multisites, how to set them up, answers hosting questions, use cases and more. Now for some reason his video doesn’t show, but the audio was normal.
